From Thursday, November 24th, to Saturday, November 26th, Syrian Forum USA attended the 9th annual Conference for Palestine in the U.S. in Chicago.

The conference is held yearly during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend by American Muslims for Palestine (AMP), a national grassroots, nonprofit organization, whose mission is to educate the American public and media about issues related to Palestine.

Syrian Forum USA held a booth at the convention, in order to inform attendees about the organization and its mission as well as its work and accomplishments, and encourage them to support the group in its ongoing endeavors to support and rebuild Syrian lives.

Syrian Forum USA President Safaa Zarzour also served as a moderator for  panel, titled "Syria: This century's bloodiest crisis" discussed the ongoing crisis in Syria, its impact on American Muslim communities, the connection between Syrian and Palestinian activism, and U.S. involvement in Syria.

Syrian Forum USA will also be present at the upcoming 15th annual MAS-ICNA convention in Chicago from December 26th to December 28th. The convention is hosted by the Muslim American Society (MAS) and the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), and works to empower American Muslims in both their religious and civic lives; this year's theme will be "American Muslims: Islamic Duties and Civic Obligations".
